When You Put It On..Something Happens

Never thought I'd be as cool as Anthony Geary, but here I am:

All it took to join the club was five bucks and a lucky trip to Goodwill. My life may never be the same.

Note to self: Frizzy mullet and rapist mustache increase cool factor exponentially. Must attain this look.

Sorry, but...yuck! bad 80's memories are surfacing as I look at this picture. I guess it can look hip (I hate that word), but this is definitely not for me.

hahaha love it!

lol that commercial is too funny! and you look gorgeous, as usual!

uuuggghhhh....I hate the rapist mustache! They are all over SF, in certain social pockets. But I'd suspect they're all over PDX too. This is for a guy who wants to honestly look bad on purpose, which isn't even ironic anymore because it's been done to death.

I've been searching for the perfect term for this facial hair and this is great. Creepsters take note!

LOL....wasn't Rosario on Will & Grace really proud of her Members Only jacket? You look cute.

That is freakin' awesome. Like you'll either be seducing someone or on Dateline - To Catch a Predator any second now.

I've wanted a Members Only jacket every now and again.. perhaps now is again, especially when seen with that beret

First let me say that you are fabulous my dear and I adore your writing. My Dad had this same coat in 1984 - did you happen upon this somewhere in a Midwest Goodwill store per chance? Love it!

I wish I had kept my Dad's - he wore it for far too long, almost to the point where it went from lame to vintage. Almost... but not quite; ;-)

[caveat: the following must be said in the voice of Ling from "Daria":]Uhm...Winona...that's like...creepy...but...you look...hot...

Jesus, Winona, do you ever do a subpar post? They're all just brilliant, all the time.

lisalisa--
hahaha I appreciate your honesty.

jenny and anonymous--thank you!

catie--
yeah, I think hipsters are actually adopting the rapist 'stache, trying to make it cool. I'm pretty upset about this.

wendyb--
thanks, babe!

lauren--
little known fact: the best way to seduce someone is to look like one of the guys from To Catch A Predator.

heather--
you have the best taste in the world. I applaud you.

ladylanguage--
hahahaha I found it at a Goodwill in Oregon--it must have been someone else's equally stylish dad's!

allie--
did you tell your dad yet that he's a fashion icon? better go do that.

Lydia--
I'm seriously gonna make you say that out loud next time we hang out.

Jules--
thank you! I love it too! I got it at H&M in DC for like $4. Which is sort of one of the major reasons I want to move to DC...

emma--
i love you.

christine--
hahahaha glad to have helped! Are you gonna be Anthony Geary or a random creepy 80's guy or a random modern day girl trying to make creepy 80's fashions look good (aka me)?

I was in junior high when the Luke/Laura rape saga was going on. We'd gather in Angie B's living room to watch.Scandelous!

I vote the jacket goes back where it came from.
