Comments of the Week: Anti-Romper Edition

With all due respect to my pro-romper readers, these comment regarding the post below were too hilarious not to share with the world:

"I all can think about is how epically difficult it would be to use the bathroom when wearing a romper AND tights. You'd have to completely disrobe to empty your bladder!"

~Amanda

"[My daughter] wants a romper but I have been encouraging drug use, smoking, and piercings instead."
~Margaret

What's a little heroin compared to a romper?

Wow, Margaret, that's some hardcore romper hate.

Ah yes, sex is semi-difficult to initiate with a button-up romper and tights on.

But if we're talking daughters here, I would think that's a plus.

Suzy,

lmao I like to wear my rompers on first dates for that very reason.
Of course, my playsuits are a bit tartier than the romper in question...

Oh now now! A romper is the ULTIMATE in teen date wear! Seriously. As the mother of four I would think that a romper teamed up with tights, a long sleeve tee and a sturdy belt would be the best defense against a handsy hormonal boy there could be. It would be like her wearing a chastity belt! Trust me, his attention span would wear out before he could get through all that layering and figure out what seam and button lead to what!

SAY YES TO THE ROMPER MOM'S OF TEENAGE DATING GIRLS!!!!

I have a vintage romper almost identical to the one below and I wear it with a full body leotard! It gets tricky when you have to go to the bathroom yes, but who cares, would you rather piss your pants or get undressed a little bit more?

Hm, I think I just lost my comment so will post again.
I'm not here to comment on rompers, except getting completely undressed to pee would be quite awkward...
My comment relates to a post on your Tumblr.
Smart Girls at the Party is awesome in it's own right, but did you notice that in the final dance party part of the show that JOBE from arrested development is there dancing with ipod headphones in???
