The downside of living with your boyfriend in a one bedroom apartment...

...is that there's nowhere to put this impossibly awesome wall decal without emasculating him.

I can't wait til we have enough money for a bigger place so I can usurp the second bedroom and fill it with girly wall decals and makeup and tampons! It'll be swell.

Marilyn die cut decal, $19, here.

I would totally get it anyway and put it in the bathroom. I'm sure he'll get over it! It not THAT girly. :)

Marilyn is emasculating?????

Get it anyway! Totally put it inside one of your cabinets or something, so that it can give you a little glee every time you open it.

I love this! Marilyn was a pinup girl.. He should think it's totally hot!

I am concerned about Marilyn's booby line in this picture.

Also, it's like the speed of sound - once you've broken the emasculation barrier you can do it all the time, no fuss, no muss. It's just that tricky first time and all the nosebleeds that ensue.

God speed.

I wonder what it says about my boyfriend when I showed him the picture and he immediately wanted it.

You could always put it on the ceiling. Or would that be creepy and weird during, um, private time....???

Never mind, maybe put it beind a door?

gee, tampons do swell, don't they? i solved this problem with my lovely framed print of marilyn in the raw by hanging it directly above the john.

for the men in my life, it caused prolonged and questionable bathroom time. for me, i just felt delightfully feminine and gorgeous upon exiting the shower because SHE was the first thing i saw instead of mirror image. sure i was fooling myself and hoodwinking a few fellows, but it was worth it.

go for it winona!!!

I too vote for it in the bathroom. If the bathroom can't be your own girly zone, then he'd better watch out!

Hahaha you guys are awesome. I totally would just go for the girlyness if the focal point of our living room wasn't a giant poster of the Spice Girls...Sure, my boyfriend loves the Spice Girls and Miss Monroe AND is comfortable with his masculinity, but I'm trying to to be careful about overwhelming the poor guy.

Alright who am I kidding? I'm totally gonna buy it.

its not that emasculating is it? my dad totally loves marilyn monroe and as such, we have a big glass picture thing (its cool, its like a mirror) of her on the wall of the family room in my house

Don't worry about it! I've got a giant Andy Warhol print of Marilyn on the hallway wall outside mine and my boyfriends bedroom...I doubt he even notices it!
