Awesome Affordable Etsy Find of the Week!

I don't really understand what you do with an egg cup--do you put an egg in it? Like, a whole egg? With a shell? MOM WHY DIDN'T YOU TEACH ME ABOUT EGG CUPS?--but I can say, with confidence, that this is the cutest egg cup in the world.

And just in time for Easter! You could totally put an Easter egg in there. Or something like that.

You put a soft or medium boiled egg in there. In the shell. Then you cut of the top little bit and eat the egg with a dainty little spoon right out of the shell...that sits in the cutest egg cup in the world. (I like to add a spot of butter and coarse salt to mine. OR soft goat cheese.)

You whack the top off your (soft-boiled) egg and dip your toast fingers in it. Or you can just have the tiniest little bit of ice cream. Or Bailey's. Or sake. OR you can leave your tooth in it for the fairies.

Mmmm... I love eggs. Salt and butter is spot on, too.

My mum calls the strips of toast you dip in the egg 'toast soldiers'. Now I really want an egg cup so that I can eat egg and toast soldiers.

My mum calls the toast strips soldiers as well! I want that adorable egg cup now, it's been forever since I used one and had toast soldiers!

Egg cups facilitate the consumption of what is referred to in my household as "dippy eggs" (as described by previous commenters). It's an April Fool's joke that you've never partaken of a dippy egg, right? Right??

My family calls them "rocket eggs"...and I dont know why. Hang on...ok, its 10 mins later and I just called the entire family and nobody knows! Bizarre...but I am totally making rocket eggs and soldiers for lunch!

I'm with you, I am completely confused by the function of an egg cup. After reading the comments, I'm like, what? You guys dip bread into egg goo and EAT it? Eww!
I like hard boiled eggs sliced up on toast with cheddar and mustard. Not weird at all.

Yeah, the egg cup is handy for *not* burning your fingers on a soft/med boiled egg. You can sit the lil' ole egg in the cup and saw off the top with an knife. Just add a bit of salt & pepper, then grab a spoon and dig in (literally). ;)

@SewSweetStitches
If you like over-easy eggs with pancakes or hash browns, you'd probably also enjoy this. It's the same idea.
