Stuff I Love

Anyone who knows me will tell you that my three worst qualities are tardiness, messiness, and insisting that Spice World is actually a really important piece of satirical cinema.

There's obviously nothing I can do about the latter two, but I remain confident that someday my doctor will diagnose me with a rare thyroid problem that causes me to be 15 minutes late for everything.

Until then, I need this shirt:

No explanations or excuses necessary. Just smile and shrug.

p.s. Once, to make up for my lateness, I drew my supervisor a silly picture inspired by this. It didn't work.

Spice World is rule. That is all.

I'm chronically tardy, too. I once hear a comedian talk about how you might as well just fess up and dispense with the fake excuses. So I've been known to say, "Sorry I'm late. I left late."

Also works as a fantastic maternity shirt...

Ha! I'm 5 minutes late for everything... my mom always say that I was "born 5 minutes late and have spent 28 years trying to catch up" which I think is adorable!

ME TOO!!

(I hear tardiness is all the rage...)

That's just true, about Spiceworld. Not a fault - a fact.

A FACT.

Oh. Hunh. I totally thought this shirt was a pregnancy joke that I just wasn't getting.

I... Still kinda feel like it is.

I love that everything gets passed around in our blogging community! I just posted this picture for my bf on my blog (survivinggreen.blogspot.com), and found it somewhere else!!

I should get my husband a dozen of these so he can wear underneath everything he owns.... and so a "superman" like apology - just open his shirt.
I am always late because of him. It's not even funny anymore.

I was late (as usual) to work today. I could use that shirt, as well. *sigh*

I am late for everything, lately it seems it's my fiance's fault more than my own though. I tend to be AT LEAST 30 mins late no matter where I go. I could def use this shirt!

I'm never on time. On the rare chance I make it someplace before the designated meeting time, it's as though all the stars in the universe have aligned themselves to make it happen.

Spice World! A work of staggering genius. Truth!

Also fun to wear while telling your boyfriend you might be pregnant.

I hope that t-shirt isn't a message from Aunt Flo.

You are my hero.

This is my perfect shirt. People don't even expect me to be on time anymore, they just tell me things start a full hour before the actual time.

You are an awesome author, and this blog never fails to make me smile.

check out mine sometime, its just a fledgling and I'm a newbie, but I'd love to hear what you think!

"Spice World is actually a really important piece of satirical cinema."

It is. It absolutely is.

I am so late to work so often I mention it in job interviews "I will always be late, is this a problem for you? Then do not hire me, we will not get along".

I am pretty much on time for the bar or party.

That drawing you referenced is hilarious. I like that it's so badly drawn that it's just "this animal."

I am chronically late, apart from for important things like flights and interviews, where I always convince myself I will be late and turn up waaaay too early!

I too am always late. ALWAYS ten minutes, sometimes 20, and occasionally 30-40 minutes. My good friends have learned to tell me 15 minutes earlier then the acutal time to be anywhere importnat or know not to start worrying about me not being there until about 20 minutes past scheduled meeting time. hahaa.
I NEED this shirt.
