Awesome Affordable Etsy Find of the Week + Party Invitation!

Bella Fiore, an Etsy shop based out of Portland, is stocked with the most beautiful handmade headbands. This purple hydrangea number makes me want to have dark curly hair because how gorgeous would it look with dark curly hair? And wasn't that an eloquent sentence?

Speaking of Portland and hair accessories, I'll be wearing one of Bella Fiore's beautiful headbands to my book launch party tonight, and I'd love to see any Portland-area readers there! Here's the info:

Time: 6:30 to 8:30 tonight (stop by any time!)

Place: Mabel & Zora, aka The Cutest Lil' Boutique Ever, 748 NW 11th Ave, P-Town.

Sustenance: Pretty cookies, champagne, sparkling cider, and a lovely vintage two-buck chuck.

Shopping: Books will be available for sale and guests will also receive 15% off any one item in the store, which is super exciting!

Freebies: We have some awesome lil' favors available for guests, along with giveaways including a Bella Fiore headband, a free book, and a fabulous necklace from Bambi and Snowflake!

Shameless pleading: Please, please, please come out, and feel free to bring a friend or three. I'd love to meet you!

You'd think that 'handmade hydrangea headband' would be a tongue-twister, due to the alliteration, but it's really not.

Also, oh god oh god oh god have fun omg have so much fun. I want to be there super badly. Pretty much everything about this party sounds amazing and fun.

Love this head band, how funny you say it would look nice with dark hair I think the opposite. I love blonde hair with purple against it.

Hope all goes well at your book signing. Take care

I'll be there (even though I have a paper to write!), and I'm looking forward to seeing your book in person.

I'm also looking forward to meeting you, not just your book (derp derp). I bet you're way more fun to talk to!

Hi, Winona,

As you know, Thom at SundayBest did a review of your book, and I named the article a "Best of the Week" in my week's best article at my site, "thereafterish.".

I let my readers know that they definitely need to buy your book, and drop by your blog and let you know they love you.

If you would like to see the post, please drop by!

Have a wonderful time tonight. I can't make it but Heather will be there with several books to be signed (before you are completely famous and unapproachable). We are selling your book at the PSU Bookstore (shameless advertising on my part)

Oh man, I used to have dark curly hair when my hair was long! This would look awesome on me (or other people, too, I guess). Oh, and I'm SO bummed I can't come to your launch partay.

I love etsy sellers! Lots of talent there, not to mention great deals on vintage. ;)

Good luck at your launch party tonight. It seems like there are so many creative people living in Portland. I might need to make a visit.

Nabbit. Portland is just too far for a mid week trip. Seattle I could have done. But not Portland. :( Good Luck!
