Woodrow Wonders...

When I get done chewing on a log, it looks like this:

When Stella McCartney gets done chewing on a log, it looks like this:

She's charging $1500 for hers. How much do you think I could charge for mine?

Cordially,
Woodrow

p.s. Thanks Pam!

Oh.My.God. I have just read all the way back to your first post. Never mind that I have 2 essays and a mid-semester test; Daddy Likey must be read! And can I just say, since I've been living off your blog, my bf has been using the words "Daddy Likey" like there's no tomorrow.

Much love from Australia!
xoxo

Oh, and happy belated birthday!

Woodrow, your work isn't wearable. That's the problem. Chew me a nice wedge shoe.

I'm sure they are both about as comfortable as each other though!

Oh I'm so glad you posted this! I think woodrow should think in terms of quantity instead of quality- he can be the walmart of wooden shoes.

The people buying those shoes do know they're ugly.....right? Is that supposed to be "ironic?"

Yay, you're back!

Where do you find these things?

Woodrow, you might consider designing your own line of wood fiber-pulp sustainabile beaver fashions. I know you have it in you, you are an Oregonian after all right? Like you have the card an everything?

Stella McCartney should rethink this.

$1500 shoes do not motivate me to go vegan.

those shoes look scary...and pictures from your birthday, lady!

Just the kind of humor I adore! LOL!

Those shoes would be less comfortable to walk in than that log, I'd venture.

Dear Woodrow,

If you know all the right people and can get at least one female who throws up everything she eats to walk down a runway in your wooden creation, you could easily charge upwards of $3,000.

(p.s. like your blog. found you via Onedia In The Ozarks - you and I are neighbors in her LOL box.)

LORD I hate Stella McCartney shoes. The posh boutique where I used to work sold her stuff, and while she makes some dreamy sweaters, her shoes always made me want to vom. I get that they're vegan and all, but that is NO excuse. Give me Natalie Portman's line any day.

Dear Daddy Likey,
Thanks for the informative discussion. As I scrolled down, I realized I had just bought that exact sweater at J. Crew last week! Only for the full price of $88! Not happy 'bout it! Snap! Can I take it to the store and demand the sale price, or was it just a special online?

Haha - brilliant. Her prices are absurd.

I thought the shoes looked cool - not sure on wearing them - but neat to look at.
