Strategy: Pair crazy colorful tights with all-black outfit to let them have center stage
Wearing: These tights from welovecolors.com, $10 black flats from Marshalls, skirt from American Apparel, tanktop and cardigan from Marshalls (yes, I really love Marshalls), peacoat from Macy's in DC (the black peacoat peer pressure in DC was immense! I gave in and bought one within days of my arrival, even though it was 90 degrees out)
Next goal: Pair crazy colorful tights with colorful outfit. Try not to look like a crazy woman.

I love the tights, so awesome. You don't look crazy at all and I think wearing a super colourful outfit with those tights would look even more amazing. Go for it, don't worry about what other people think. I never do.

For your next goal,I would start small and try flat black boots and black wide belt with a purple, or blue, or green, maybe yellow simple dress.

Did I ever tell you, Winona, that in the 6th grade I had a pair of blueberry tie-died pants? That I wore ALL THE TIME? Also, that I only wore with blue things. (Blue shoes, blue socks, blue shirt, blue sweatshirt, blue hair-tie...EVEN blue lipstick! ) I'm extremely disappointed I don't have a photo to share with you right now, because I know you'd love it!

I have so many tights at the moment that I can fill two drawers!
I like clashing my outfits with colourful tights or if I'm feeling more self-conscious I like to colourblock with them.
Wearing my purple Melissa brogues with Purple tights made me especially happy.
I haven't attempted tye-dye tights yet but I may try after seeing your pic.
