Stolen Peacock Vintage Giveaway!

First of all, thank you so much for the great response to my friend Rachel and my new Etsy shop, Stolen Peacock Vintage. We really appreciate all the sweet comments, emails, and Etsy favorite-ing, and we're now in the process of restocking after our first sales, so we're super excited!

To celebrate our grand opening, we've arranged a little giveaway for Daddy Likey readers. The winner will receive a $20 gift certificate to spend on anything in the shop, along with this vintage Ann Taylor silk scarf with a gorgeous peacock pattern:

Fact: Vintage Ann Taylor scarves increase your street cred by, like, infinity:

Hardcore, right? (Complete with duckface.)

We will also send you a cookie.

For your chance to win, please take a look around the shop and leave a comment on this post telling us your favorite item. We'll choose a winner at random next Friday. Contest is open to all readers, everywhere. If you're feeling generous, please help us spread the word about this contest, and we'll love you forever! Good luck!

UPDATE: Congratulations to our winner, Lauren P.! Thank you all so much for the kind words and enthusiasm for our shop! I'll be restocking the shop (again! yay!) over the weekend, so keep an eye out for cool new stuff. We'll also be doing more fun giveaways in the future, so come on back to Daddy Likey, ya hear?

I personally have my eye on the Navy Secretary Dress <3

Flippin' love the Piave rose tinted glasses. Those are so awesome. I would wear those to school and the kids in my class would be like "...what?" and I'd be like "bitch, you don't know my life", knowing that I look fabulous. And then I would make them write me essays on how fabulous I look.

Um, so, yeah. The glasses.

Cat said...

the sequined jacket. I could totally rock it ;)

Definately the Vintage Rose-Tinted Piave Sunglasses because they make me feel like summer and the teal matches the scarf :)

I already bought my first favorite item, the adorable white with polka dots dress. (How fun to eagerly anticipate its arrival!)
From the current selections, I do love the sequined jacket, but just to be a little different, I'll say the big teal sunglasses. They remind me of "9 to 5" or "Tootsie." In a good way.

My favorite item in the shop is definitely the "Vintage 80s Secretary Chic Pleated Buttoned Dress" WITH POCKETS! That's the icing on the cake right there. POCKETS!

I'm in love with the navy blue pleated button dress. I just started a grown up job, and that's a dress I could actually wear. Plus...POCKETS
Or, I could put on bright red lipstick, killer heels, curl my hair and pretend to be Rosie the Riveter on a night out on the town. Hey, it totally works.

Hrmm. If it's chocolate chip then I like the 80s halterneck tiny floral dress concoction. But if it's oat 'n' raisin then I think the Pendleton jacket is smokin'.

For me it's a close call between the sunglasses and the Vintage 80s Secretary Chic Dress. Ultimately I have to choose the dress, since my face has proven to be very hard to please with shades :(
Great, wonderful store, Winona! I can't wait to see more after restocking :)

Once, I was driving home, and saw a peacock in a parking lot of a fire station. I pulled over to make sure it was all right, and it started barking at me like a dog (apparently, they all do this!). I went and banged on the door of the fire station to thell them about the peacock, because I was worried about it on the road. I'm pretty sure the firemen are still laughing about that!

Anwyay, "stolen peacock" made me think of that day!

My favourite item is the vintage 80's floral short laytered skirt halter dress. LOVE the pattern.

Thanks for offering this giveaway, and I love the name of your shop, it made me smile.
