Awesome Affordable Etsy Find of the Week!

Some of the awful puns and jokes I considered for this post:

"Now that's what I call intelligent design!"

"For keeping your bangs under control, these pins are a natural selection."

"I'd buy these in a finch!" (Like "in a pinch," but "finch" instead, because Darwin studied finches! Eh? Eh?)

"Who knew that H.M.S. Beagle stood for Hair Most Stylish, ummm....Beagle?"

"I've been looking for a way to evolve my look."

"These pins would do wonders for what I like to call The Origin of the Greasies, aka not washing my hair for five days."

But mostly I just can't get over how creepy/cute it would be to have Darwin's little face peeking out from a French chignon. I need to learn how to do a French chignon.

Haha! They are unbelievable. I truly believe they would help me pick up the kind of boyfriend I really want. If he's impressed with those hairclips it might just be love.

Those are a hoot! How proud would your dad be if you snapped up a pair?

omg those are amazing, they remind me of my freaky necklace with the pictures in the beads
I don't know if it's because of my university-student-chug-a-large-latte-in-5-minutes-to-stay-awake caffeine rush or that you're just too funny, but I just laughed so loud that I woke up one of my roommates.

...most likely the latter.

You are so awesome for showing those, I would love to have Charles Darwin's face peaking from under my hair. I may have to make my fiance get them for me as a Halloween present (I am making his costume, I think that deserves a present ;-)

Awesome! I'm putting this on my Santa wish list for my (biologist) husband to take note of. It's exactly what my French Chignon's been missing.

At first I thought they were printed photos of ears. But now that I see they are little Darwins, I covet them!

A chignon is one of those words that I would always find in my mother's books that I should probably not have been reading in junior high, and it MYSTIFIED ME. Okay, maybe not MYSTIFIED, but I thought it sounded so classy and elegant...and I had no idea what it looked like.

When I finally did find out what it was I was like THAT'S IT? A TWIST? THAT'S PRACTICALLY A BUN. WTF DANIELLE STEEL IS SO DUMB.

The end.
