I Heart Halloween!

I'm finishing up my Nancy Wilson (above right) costume, getting ready to head out to meet my friend Katelyn (aka Ann Wilson, left), who will attempt to crimp our hair and then off into the night we'll go. I've gotta warm up my vocal chords, too, because god knows how many times we'll have to sing "Barracuda" to answer the question, "What is 'Heart'?"

Have a safe and happy Halloween, everyone! What are/were you going as?

UPDATE: Here's our best Heart impression:

Also here's me with my new friend, Drunk Guy in a Poncho:

I've just put on my Chiquita Banana Lady hat. Shit, I've got a song to learn, too. Photos to come.

Ahh you're so cool for dressing up as Heart! :D I remember rocking out to their songs with my mom. Good times.

I was the Other Mother from Coraline:

Although I didn't do much of anything and I was back at home before midnight because I am actually an old lady who needs too much sleep.

Just got back from a Rocky Horror/Breakfast for Dinner-fest. I went as a circus girl, with a top hat and everything.

Heart is amazing!!
I went as a disco ball which was really just an excuse to wear an all sequin dress and cover myself in sparkles.

Barracude, Crazy on You, Magic Man (my personal fave for sentimental reasons)... they get played all the time!! With that being said... you delivered a slap to the person who asks that question, right? lol Ok, maybe that's a bit extreme. But come on... it's freakin' Heart!!!

Great costume idea, can't wait to see pics! I was a ghost, complete with neck slashed (to show just how I died) Halloween is our wedding anniversary so we usually go pretty crazy, pics up on my blog.
Cheers!

I was guillotined zombie Marie Antoinette! I just posted pics...it was over the top and ridiculous. My favorite Halloween costume to date! You look awesome as a femme 80s rocker!

I went as rockabilly-style Poison Ivy. I didn't want to have to wear a bodysuit, so I wore a green wiggle dress instead, complete with ivy, green tights, opera gloves, and a leafy fascinator I made. I really love my costume; I think I'm going to wear it again for my birthday next week!
